The Truth is : Truth never exists.

Sounds obfuscating but irony of living in a real world makes it true.

So how does one go defining Truth?

A truth for you doesn't necessitate that it is a truth for a person who wants to view it as false.

Truth is subjective as well as relative! It has a start and hence has the ability to have an end as well. The dichotomy of Truth can bring out the pervasive anomalies of how things can appear different for the same context. Take for an instance, I intent to tell people that am honest person, but how do you make it a truthful description of yours? Well, your actions plays a major role here. The way you respond, the way you want to communicate can eventually lead to what people can perceive it as a global truth, at least for the life span each truth has.

Yet another dissection of properties of the truth. Since it is subject and is relative, as I would rather view it as. It has to have Time period as well. The idea of bringing about the truth in one's life is way beyond generalizing the concept of Truth.

We seek truth, a parameter or rather a factor which can get us the redemption of the feeling and the intensity to seek for a Truth.

Ambiguous statement it seems! We seek for truth, for the truth that can solace us.

Truth never really existed, it just a way of reckoning that certain things has changed or got displaced and we need to change or stay the same accordingly. Its a part of acknowledging our actions. Not just our actions, but people we are connected to as

a whole.

That speaks about relativity property of the Truth. A truth moment ago can become an appalling lie. How does that happen?

Even if you know that its a certain thing is actual description of certain thing, aka the Truth behind that. But you need to get an acknowledgment from another person to make it a subjective truth that can be apparent for the other people who would then scrutinize if it fits for the truth.

So, its about who believes its a Truth, not the other way round of self declaring it to be a true. Truth, is all about how we make other people believe, doesn't matter if it changes it definition later. At least, it was a truth for some period of time.

The bigger question to surmise upon is, how the definition of 'the Truth thing' changes in later course? People, didn't discover it was something else, and hence all these day they believed it to be truth. But now it is not.

And thats where the existence of truth gets questioned. It never existed. Now, if a truth can exist for one thing, then why doesn't it for others?

Truth is a relative entity to the other Truths. We can call it a Truth, since it appears the way it is at least for some point of time, and it makes few people to believe that it really does. It's relative meaning to our existence can only help you to get it deemed as a truth. So, doesn't it solve the quagmire of what is a Truth?

Confused? Ya, exactly... thats the Truth.

Do you have any revoutionary Philosophical ideas?

What I mean by revolutionary is something that would necessarily change or challenge any of the existing ideas being taught in the Philosophy department.

For example, your disagreent with Decarte, Plato, Aristotle
based on so and so argument ( that has not been recorded on text).

My example: I thought of some possible questions agaisnt Decarte's 'I think therefore I am').What I read from Decarte is that he is sayingI can't doubt that I am doubting, therefore the doubter (which is I) must exist. My opposition of Decarte's argument comes in the form of questions; How do we know that we are doubting to begin with? What definitions of doubt are we confined to? What kind of existence?
Mistake: Decarte said " I think. I am" not " I think therefore I am" but my point in question still stands.

Others have explored the cogito quite extensively already. Nietszche, for example, argued that there is doubt, therefore there is something. A simplified version.
In response to your challenge, one cannot doubt that one doubts because the conception meant by the theory is one in which a premise is denied. If no premise is denied, then you cannot deny the premise that you doubt. A fuller explanation of doubt is unnecessary, so long as it includes that as part of it's conception, it is sufficient as the premise of the cogito and it is self-proving.

Ideas that are new or change the scope of an area of philosophy aren't that uncommon, if you have a narrow enough area. My senior thesis argued that the two most prominent theories on the philosophy of time, presentism and eternalism, both need to be modified in light of proven statements in physics, and once that is done, there is relatively little to distinguish the two.
Interesting consequences of this include:
An argument that P OR Not P is not always a true schema, especially in the future tense
A perspectivist view of ontology
A perspectivist view of mereology (this is less a consequence as it is a separate compatible theory of mine)
A physicalist argument for free will
Others too, but those are my favorites.

Find Chiropractic Universities in the United States and Canada. Candidates seeking to enroll in one of several alternative health courses will find that a number of chiropractic universities offer comprehensive graduate, undergraduate and chiropractic studies.

In almost all cases, chiropractic universities require applicants to have earned prerequisite courses and/or a degree from a traditional college or higher learning institution. As with most academic organizations, chiropractic universities provide intensive clinical training and education. Curriculums vary, but for the Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) Program, students frequently engage in approximately 4,200-5,000 instructional hours, which can be achieved in a four to eight-year time span (depending on part-time and full-time course availability).

While each state differs in licensure requirements, applicants should familiarize themselves with pre-chiropractic and other educational requirements prior to enrolling in one of several chiropractic universities. In addition, common curriculums that are extended through chiropractic universities entail in-depth instruction in anatomy, biochemistry, business, chiropractic skills, clinical nutrition and diagnosis, microbiology, neurosciences, pathology, physiology, psychology, public health, and radiology. Students who have completed all applicable training and internship programs will be able to sit for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners test. Upon successful completion and passing the exam, students must also (in most cases) maintain specified hours of annual continuing education to retain licensure.

A number of chiropractic universities offer post-doctoral courses in a variety of subjects including applied chiropractic sciences, family practice, neurology, nutrition, orthopedics, pediatrics, radiology and rehab; to list just a few. For the entrepreneur, chiropractic universities allow individuals to become self-employed healthcare providers who often work solo or in small, partner practices.

Students drawn to the fascinating field of chiropractic will find that chiropractic universities not only present course-intensive education and training, but will also discover that this alternative health treatment taught at chiropractic universities is quickly becoming mainstream medicine.

Furthermore, chiropractic universities also enable successful graduates to enter a health care practice, which is definitely on the rise. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, "Employment of chiropractors is expected to grow faster than average for all occupations through the year 2014 as consumer demand for alternative health care grows."

If you (or someone you know) are interested in finding one of several chiropractic universities, let education within fast-growing industries like massage therapy, cosmetology, acupuncture, oriental medicine, Reiki, and others get you started! Explore career school programs [http://school.holisticjunction.com/clickcount.php?id=6634739&goto=http://www.holisticjunction.com/search.cfm] near you.

There are many different ways to measure inflation. People should be aware of each of the different ways and what they mean so that they know what each of the measurements mean to them. Some of the measurements that are used to measure inflation are the consumer price index, the cost of living index (which most of us have heard of), the list index summary analysis, the producer price index, the wholesale price index, the commodity price index, and the gross domestic product deflator. All of these indexes measure different things to gauge inflation. There is also a measure called historical inflation. This method uses what experts believe the prices of items were before we began measuring inflation. This means that the measure uses the prices of items before the 1900's.

Inflation affects every aspect of money including wages, prices and interest rates. Sometimes experts say that inflation goes up and down and then balances out so fast that it has little effect on prices and wages. But the big question is what actually causes inflation and what effect it has on the economy. Experts believe that inflation may really have a good effect on the economy if it is not too big. This is because it is too hard to lower wages so prices must adjust themselves to compete. Another factor called deflation is considered to be bad because wages are adjusted downwards and prices become unstable. When inflation is high many people invest more of their money rather than spend it on prices that are too high. Because their "purchasing power" is lower these people would rather invest their hard earned money. But these investments will have to "stay ahead of inflation" by earning a bigger return than inflation will grow by. Inflation is also used to measure the cost of living in a given area and as a basis for issuing some bonds for investment. From this it is easy to see how the measure of inflation affects all of our economic transactions.

The theory of supply side economics says that the value of money depends on whether or not there is an increase in the supply of money or whether or not there is a decrease in the demand for money. This theory also says that there can be more money put into circulation and that this will not cause inflation as long as the demand for money also increases. There are many ways that the government has of trying to control inflation. These ways are generally discussed as part of a presidential candidate's election platform and continue to be discussed amongst government officials during a leader's term in office. This is called the government's monetary policy. A nation's national bank or central bank can help control inflation by raising interest rates.

Other ways to control inflation are to reduce the supply of money, reduce the demand for money, increase taxes, reduce government spending, and initiating what is called wage and price controls. This method is often used during wars to control inflation. Sometimes this method is not effective. This method is considered an extreme way of controlling inflation. Many experts say that wage and price controls don't work unless the government fixes what caused the inflation in the first place. The reason that this method is often used during wartime is because it is the war itself that has caused the inflation and this allows the government to control inflation until the war ends.

The Luciferians are the inner cabal of the Vatican according to Malachi Martin (And have been for a long time as I have demonstrated in other books.). They created that fiction about 'for the good of mankind' which led to Salvation after Jesus was crucified. They have grown rich beyond their wildest imaginations as the benefits of special dispensations and confessionals have poured in to their coffers. They have been given large amounts of the land as well as special tax status that their Divine Kings share.

Chopra wrote about Merlin as an analogy of sorts; but Merlin (Who prophesized Joan of Arc for one.) may well have been a name of the advisor/sorcerer to a Arthurian Merovingian king that archaeology shows did live on Cadbury Hill. The Royal Stuart and Merovingian group when joined in social engineering efforts like religion or The Royal Society are the Hibernians. I think Arthur of the real legend was from a far earlier time; but the creation of the Grail fiction by the Hibernian who founded the Cistercian Order is a Luciferian myth. This is Bernard of Clairvaux and later we have another well known occultist participating with the Borgias/De Medicis in the founding of the Jesuits by the Alumbrados (bringers of light). The Hibernian involved with the Borgias/De Medicis in the founding of the Jesuits was Nostradamus. Bernard was a double agent in the 'play both ends against the middle' game they play. He sat on the Inquisitor Panels and yet helped Chrétien de Troyes write a Parsifal tale. But if Nostradamus had a "stone' to see the future as we see on the cover of books about him; who else in their number had this awesome tool? Let us consider the words of John Dominic Crossan of De Paul University for some historical insight into Divination.

"Magic as Religious Banditry

Recall from earlier how Eric Hobsbawm's concept of the Robin Hood element in social banditry was severely criticized by Anton Blok. Blok was, I argued, superficially correct but profoundly wrong. Bandits may seldom rob the rich and give to the poor and even more seldom rob the rich to give to the poor, but the validity and perdurance of the Robin Hood mystique is based firmly on the fact that they do rob the monopoly of violence from the rich and distribute it to the poor, and, more significantly, they rob aristocratic and structural violence of the veneer of morality under which it operates. They force the question: what is the moral difference between a gang and an army, a peasant bandit on the make and an imperial entrepreneur on the throne.

I propose now that magic is to religion as banditry is to politics. As banditry challenges the ultimate legitimacy of political power, so magic challenges that of spiritual power. Magic and religion can be mutually distinguished, in the ancient world or in the modern one, by political and prescriptive definitions but not by substantive, descriptive, or neutral descriptions." (3)

He could have added that the illegitimate offspring who seek to return to the state of power in their father or grandfather's time as in the case of Hitler often over-achieve. In Napoleon's case he may have sought the legendary Tuscan noble position of many centuries earlier. Some will even say I have a genetic pre-disposition to grandeur because I am a 'bastard' of THE Bruce. But I am a BRD of the language of the Birds and it seems to have helped me understand the lesser codes of Green Languages.

"Divination is one of man's oldest spiritual technologies, its origins lost in the shift from neolithic hunter-gatherers to settled agriculturalists. As the shaman developed into the priest, divination, along with all forms of spiritism, became codified into mythology. From a framework of mythic events and divination - literally readings of the divine - came language, which evolved over time into written forms based on the original symbolic elements. In turn, these symbolic elements became the focus of divinatory practices of their own, creating sub-sets of meaning within common words and phrases. From this intentional ambiguity arose the possibility of an initiate's language, a language of the birds, or, as it was expressed by the medieval initiates, the Green Language.

Although we can point to the Green Language {Of the Hibernians including Swift, Carlyle, and many Great Scots.}in works as diverse as Midsummer Night's Dream and The Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosencruz, Nostradamus' quatrains, 18th century alchemical texts and surrealist manifestos, few authors have bothered to explain it. One who did was Fulcanelli, the enigmatic 20th century alchemist and philosopher, in his masterpiece The Mystery of the Cathedrals, published in Paris in 1926. Here we have an authentic, although mysterious, voice of authority; one that was both master of the Green Language itself, and a master of the subjects usually hidden within it." (4)

How do you know who your friends are?

I have to do an essay about this question from a Greek philosopher, Aristotle. Can you help me how you consider people as your friends. Like in the essay, i have to show that i agree or disagree with Aristotle's philosophy of friendship.

Aristotle (real) definition of friends is:-each person has good will toward the other person.-each person wishes good will toward the other person because of any one of the following three motives: usefulness, pleasure, or moral goodness.-each person knows that the other person has good will toward him or her.

Can you give me topics for my body paragraphs that is agreeing or disagreeing Aristotle. Some ideas that I chose to do for my body paragraphs are: explaining what is good will. What percentage of you friendship are based on usefulness On pleasure? On moral goodness?
what is the difference between a friend and an aqquaintance?

An acquaintance is someone you walk by and say hello to. A friend is someone you can ask to do you a favor and they will do it without questioning what is in it for them.

What is truth? Free thinking philosophy!

Joining some self help groups are the best way to build up self-esteem and benefit from group learning that could greatly accelerate your recovery process. Do not ignore the powerful of group discussion and treatments...

It's time that you ask the experts

If you are suffering from mild anxiety attacks, then you are lucky enough that you can still manage to think and live a normal life. But for people who are already enduring severe anxiety attacks, or worse, panic anxiety attacks, thought processing and normal functioning is greatly affected. Thus, the person must confer with anxiety self help groups at once.

Anxiety, on its mild form, can still be beneficial. But as it progresses to a more complicated stage, the person will experience negative alterations on the way he thinks and in making decisions and judgement. In some cases, the person's social interaction processes is disturbed, and his activities of daily living decreased.

It is not easy to manage alone the grave forms of anxieties, such as panic anxiety attacks and general anxiety disorders. The person suffering from it needs social support from those who can understand these health conditions well, and those who can plan a comprehensive treatment to manage the problem and prevent other complications to arise.

There are thousands of anxiety self help groups available in the world. In the United States alone, there are hundreds of dedicated groups that provide a variety of treatment modalities to manage anxiety. Some of these include the following:

- NJ Self-help Group Clearinghouse (New Jersey)

- New Jersey Affiliate of the Obsessive Compulsive Foundation (New Jersey)

- Anxiety and Phobia Peer Support Email Group (New Jersey)

- Anxiety Alleviation Group (New York)

- Acting-Drama Therapy Workshop (New York)

- Attacking worry, anxiety, OCD and Depression (California)

- Anxiety Support Group (California)

- People Helping Others Become Independent Again - PHOBIA (New Jersey)

- Anxiety and Panic Disorder Support Group (California)

- Recovery International (Michigan)

- Agoraphobics in Motion - AIM (Michigan)

- Panic and Anxiety Support Group (Pennsylvania)

- Pittsburgh Social Anxiety Support Group (Pennsylvania)

- Panic-Anxiety-Agoraphobics Support Group (Florida)

These anxiety self help groups are being facilitated by experts and professional health care providers. There are different activities in store for those who will submit themselves in these groups; some of these include behavior modification therapy, health education, individual counselling programs, play therapy, psychodrama, music therapy, and group therapy with other clients. Other groups would even include in their program alternative therapies like massage, acupressure, aromatherapy, and imagery.

These support groups have formulated specific and realistic goals, and these goals are directed towards the client for the relief of his or her condition. The achievement of these goals, however, is not only the sole responsibility of the people behind the anxiety self help groups. The clients should understand that the success of the therapy also depends on the level of their participation.

One of the chief goals that most support groups have for their clients is enhancing behavior change. This is a specific goal that would greatly reduce the extremes in anxiety levels. In this goal, the activities included are the following:

- Assessment of confidence, importance and readiness for change

- Assisting client to increase awareness behavior.

- Continuous positive reinforcement of desired behavior

- Informing client for a new self-image.

However, anxiety self help groups are not the ends of anxiety eradication. The person should still consult psychiatrists to plan systematically the management to control both the psychiatric and physical symptoms brought about by this condition.

Self Help Group is an effective way to share, learn and build confidence during the anxiety recovery process.
How do I go about attaining my teacher's certification if I have a Bachelors in Biology?

First of all I am in New Jersey
I would like to become a Biology teacher (preferably for elementary school). In NJ, I have seen that it is possible to teach elementary science (without having to do all subjects).

Obviously, I did not do education along with my B.S., but I heard about an alternative route. I am also a current substitute teacher for Newark Public/West Orange Public Schools (for over 3 years)- so that may add to my experience.

What do I need to do now? Do I just take the test?

There are several programs that help teachers. Try looking into Alternative Certification Programs or even Master's and Certification programs in your areas. Check what the requirements are for your specific state. If you teach fourth or fifth grade, i believe you can just teach science. I teach in Texas so it is a little different here. Here you have to be certified EC-4 to teach elementary. You also have to teach all subjects. I hope this helps.

Have you ever noticed when dealing with minority groups or human groupings or various categories that the names people wish to be called keep changing. Obviously some one who is a moron does not wish to be called a blithering idiot. And mentally challenged sound rather bizarre so what do you call them? Beats me. But what if someone is handicapped, then they wish to be called physically challenged, but beware as soon as you get use to that they will want to be called something else.

Then there is the other group in society, which often feels outcaste. What do you call a gay person, transvestite or lesbian? Which one do you call a queer, or are you politically correctly allowed to use that word? Well I do not ever use the word Queer, so I am not sure its exact definition? It brings to me images of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" or an extremely eccentric Homosexual like let's say Elton John, Sigfried and Roy or Liberachi?

Fact is it is okay to call some one a queer who fits a certain category, such as a transsexual, they are fine with being called a queer, but they do not wish to be called a gay or a mere homosexual you see? So, if you did not know the answer to that one, you failed the test. Now then are you sure you will know a queer when you see one if you are out at a bar and had a few drinks? Ah, that is the question one may really wish to know in all this isn't it? Consider all this in 2006.

Now that I'm not going to church, how should I bring up the fact to my Catholic father?

My father is very religious, and his mental stability might depend on this (though I'm not sure). Although I'm not his only son, I know he would be disappointed at the least to see I haven't been going to church anymore. He's aware that I've been "struggling with my faith", though he is very non-confrontational and probably believes that I'm still quite faithful. The reality is that I have serious doubts. To those who would reply that I should see a priest: I have been there. The only thing I can be certain of is there is no certainty when it comes to spiritual matters, but that's something for the philosophy forums, not this one.

My question to you is how I should approach the fact that I'm no longer going to church. The living situation is: I'm in another state, but will soon be visiting home. I would rather not put up a facade, so how should I bring up the truth?

You're an adult. If he can't accept that you are an adult and make your own choices in life then you have more problems than just the church thing.

Remind him God gave us free will to choose and it is not mans job to take that free will away.

educational development kerala after independence

Foreigners, particularly Westerners know little about India, its people, the customs and culture of this vast country - second only to China by way of population figure, but bigger in land area. Even those who have studied about India may not know the in-depth details of the diverse cultures prevailing among Indian people, living in the northern and southern States - bifurcated by languages in 1956.

This being a very wide subject for stuffing inside this limited space, an attempt is being made here to bring forth at least the differences in cultures of people of North India and South India, but it should be remembered that as an Indian, all the people of India, irrespective of regional and territorial barriers, have several aspects in common.

The virtues one can find among all Indians are - Faith in God - whether it is one of the many Hindu Gods, Allah or Jesus; respect to elders of the family; traditional values of life preserved for generations and preached to children when they are kids; shunning evil deeds and beholding good deeds fearing justice by destiny; forbearance of life's challenges with courage and simplicity.

True - India is plagued by poverty, illiteracy and superstitions leading to castism etc., but the binding factor from Kashmir in the North end to Kanyakumari in the South end is unity in diversity, when the nation faces any peril like war or foreign invasion. And this has been proved beyond doubt many times before.

On the cultural aspect, broadly the country can be divided into North India - those States falling north of Vindhya Hills running in the centre horizontally and those falling south of it. Excepting States of Andhra Pradesh; Karnataka; Tamilnadu and Kerala, all other States are considered North India.

Language is the predominant divider here. All North Indian States generally speak Hindi, the National Language, and its derivatives like Bhojpuri, Urdu, Gujarathi, Marathi, Bengali, Oriya and the like. Again, the basis for Hindi is the ancient language (but now extinct) Sanskrit.

South Indian States speak the derivatives of the ancient language Tamil (which is the official language of Tamilnadu) such as Telugu (Andhra Pradesh), Kannada (Karnataka), and Malayalam (Kerala).

But in all the States of India, English is used as the common language and is also recognized as the official language of India. Thanks to 300 years of British Rule, Indian Schools, Colleges and Universities are teaching for generations, impeccable British English. Indians speak and write good and chaste English as taught by text books - not the slang used by native British people by repeated usage in conversations. So any foreigner with English knowledge can comfortably tour all over India.

Ancient India, prior to Independence from British Rule, was largely scattered as separate Kingdoms and Indian history shows many rulers including great Muslim Emperors like Baber. The whole country had its capital - mostly Delhi - in North India for these native as well as alien rulers. Inevitably the cultures of North India were greatly impacted by Muslim rulers and Emperors.

But South India was comparatively peaceful during invasions, blood-shed wars and turmoil, even at the time of separation of Pakistan from India. This explains the flourishing of fine arts in whole of South India, especially Tamilnadu, with peace and harmony prevailing for centuries.

Even today each Indian State is identified in this background for diverse cultures. Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Maharashtra for their bravery. West Bengal for its literary works, emotional poets like Rabindranath Tagore, simple lifestyles following communism. Orissa for its sculptures and mountain tribal lives. Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar for density in population, poverty, illiteracy and ignorance.

Food habits differ only in two ways - whole of North Indian people eating wheat and its products as main course and South Indians would not miss rice and its derivatives for anything. As for vegetarianism, the South Indians are up-front although non-veg items are taken, but not as popular as North Indian varieties.

The entire of South India consists of most Hindu temples in the country, including the monumental Tanjore Bragadeeswar Temple located in Tamilnadu, largest in size of Temple Towers.

For South Indian culture alone one can write volumes.
