The ARWU is published by the Institute of Higher Education at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University and several indicators of academic or research performance are used to establish the ranking, these include highly cited researchers, articles indexed in major citation indices and staff winning Nobel Prizes.

What school has the best MBA program in England?
I am an American student currently attending an Ivy League undergraduate program, where I will most likely get a degree in economics. I am open to the option of going to an international location for my MBA, and as such I am focusing on the UK. Now I know there are many rankings online, but they do not reflect the personal experiences of the students. From what I know there are many great schools, including Imperial College and the London School of Economics. So what makes some of the schools stand apart from the others? Are any of them extremely difficult for an American to gain admission to? Any insight would help.
